Is Solo Leveling getting a drama or an anime adaptation?

 One of the biggest Korean webtoon/ manhwa Solo leveling with over 1 million people reading it per day is in talk to get a drama adaptation .The fans were expecting an anime because of its endearing art though the chances of getting animated is probably less.

On April 13th,Maeil Business News Korea released a press statement concerning the upcoming Solo Leveling projects that are being discussed. The show will be produced by an American studio, sources have been tipping that Warner Brothers might be interested in project. If we get to see a Solo Leveling television series within this calendar year, viewers can expect to be waiting until 2022 for the drama to premiere. 

At the time of writing, no information on either the potential plot or cast of the drama series has been revealed. Since the series' original storyline is incredible, it is highly likely that the production company would want to stick with it. 

According to a leak by Chinese social network Weibo, the production of an anime series for the webtoon Solo Leveling would be underway. The leak has not been confirmed yet. However a trailer for Solo Leveling was uploaded on Youtube with over 100 chapters, that is enough source material to produce an anime.

Japan being the hub of anime it is impossible to get an anime adaptation because most of the antagonist in Solo Leveling is shown as Japanese. Author have to change the storyline otherwise it will not be animated in Japan.
